DHARWAD: The district on Saturday recorded a whopping 272 new COVID-19 cases and two deaths in 24 hours, according to the bulletin issued by the department of health and family welfare on Saturday evening.
With this, the district now has a total of 24,820 Coronavirus cases, of which 1,166 are active.
Also, 115 persons were discharged, taking the total number of recovered patients to 23,008. Nearly 30 patients are being monitored in ICUs of various hospitals in the district.
So far, 646 people have died due to the deadly infection in the district.
