HUBBALLI: Recording highest single-day Covid-19 spike, Dharwad district on Friday breached the 400-mark in Covid-19 positive cases with 472 fresh cases, according to the bulletin issued by the Health and Family Welfare Department on Friday evening.
With these new figures, the active cases in the district has spiked to 2,404. On the brighter side, 143 infected persons have recovered.
So far, 26,868 persons have been infected, and 23,798 persons have recovered. As many as 666 persons have died to the deadly infection.
