Department of Health and Family Welfare Demonstration of Hand Washing Methods to Children at Anjuman High School
Dharwad, August 08: In collaboration with the District Administration, District Panchayat, District Health and Family Welfare Department, a program was organized to create awareness among the students about hand washing methods at Anjuman High School in the city Saturday (August 6).
District RCHO Officer Dr. SM Honakeri inaugurated the program and said that hands should be washed with soap before eating and after toilet. Wet both hands with water and apply soap. Hands should be placed palm on top of each other and rubbed with soap. Move the palms back and forth and rub between the fingers. Rub the nails into the other hand and wash the wrists of both hands well. He demonstrated the methods of hand washing that both hands should be thoroughly washed with water.
