HUBBALLI,April 16: Questioning the delay in holding elections for HDMC mayor and dy mayor post, two corporators have move High Court.
Its seven months to HDMC elections, but the election for Mayor and Deputy Mayor post aren’t held.
The petitioners- Suvarna Kalakuntla and Shambhugowda Salamani- appealed to the High Court seeking directions to the Govt in this regard.
The absence of Mayor is affecting the Corporation’s day to day work, and people’s grievances are left unaddressed, they said.
