HUBBALLI, Oct 17: In a bid to clear extra rush of passengers during this weekend and Dasara holidays, the North-Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) will operate over 500 additional buses.
According to NWKRTC, the extra buses will be operated from October 20 to 22, and on October 24 and 25.
More than 250 additional buses including 200 express buses, and 50 premium buses will be run from major cities like Bengaluru, Pune, Goa, and Mangaluru to important places like Dharwad, Gadag, Belagavi, Haveri, Bagalkot, and Uttara Kannada districts from October 20 to 22.
In the return direction too, additional buses will be operated on October 24 and 25. Additional buses will also be run within districts and between districts, based on the demand, the NWKRTC officials said.
