DHARWAD: Dharwad district, which was reporting below 300 Covid cases for couple of days, recorded over 300 cases on Monday. According to a bulletin released by the Health and Family Welfare Department, the district reported 313 new cases today.
The district added eight more to its causalities list, which is counting 1016 deaths so far.
However, as many as 560 Covid patients were discharged after they completely recovered. With this, the tally has increased to 53,552.
Neighbouring district Gadag saw 141 new cases on Monday while reporting 2 deaths due to Covid-19 complications.
Haveri district reported 179 fresh cases and 10 deaths.
Similarly, Belagavi saw 355 fresh cases and 15 Covid-related deaths.
