DHARWAD July 08: A ‘Chigari’ bus rammed into a barricade and hit two vehicles resulting injury to over a dozen passengers in front of Suvarna petrol bunk at Vidyagiri in Dharwad on Friday.
According to Police, the BRTS bus driver lost control over the Chigari and hit a barricade on the corridor, and then it went on to hit a car and a tempo moving on the mixed lane.
While over a dozen passengers sustained minor injuries, the car and tempo driver had a miraculous escape. Also, the vehicular movement on the busy old PB road came to a grinding halt following the accident. The police had a tough time managing the traffic.
