BREAKING: Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray resigns after Supreme Court allows floor test

New Delhi,June 29: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday (June 29) tendered his resignation after the Supreme Court allowed floor test. The Supreme Court rejected Uddhav government’s plea and refused to stay the floor test in the Maharashtra assembly tomorrow.

A vacation bench of Justices Surya Kant and J B Pardiwala heard arguments on behalf of Shiv Sena, its rebel MLAs led by Eknath Shinde, and the Governor on the plea in the hearing conducted after 5 pm through hybrid mode.

Uddhav Thackeray Facebook Address: As the Supreme Court gave go-ahead to the floor test in the Maharashtra Assembly on Thursday June 30, all eyes are now set on Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray as he is set to address the people via Facebook LIVE.
