‘Blueprint Prepared To Systematically Utilize Oxygen Received From Kuwait’

DHARWAD: The district has received 50 tonnes of oxygen from Kuwait and the second installment is also expected to receive soon.

We have received 50 tonnes of oxygen from Kuwait, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said after visiting the Praxair Oxygen Refiling unit at Beluru Industrial area in Dharwad on Monday.

“It has been decided to procure 75 tonnes of oxygen from Kuwait, as per the agreement signed between India and Kuwait. Of the total Dhawrad has received 50 tonnes of medical oxygen from that country and the second installment will be received soon,” he said.

“A blueprint has been prepared to systematically utilize the life-saving gas at Dharwad, Belagavi, Gadag, Haveri, Bagalkot and Vijaypur districts. The district administration has made all the arrangements for this,” he added.

MLA Arvind Bellad, Amruth Desai. Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil, Superintendent of Police P Krishnakant, Vinayak Palnkar, Rudresh and others were present.
