HUBBALLI, Mar 2: The Australian Consulate-General, Bengaluru, on Friday announced a new partnership with SEED aimed at supporting women entrepreneurs in tier 2 and 3 cities in Karnataka including Hubballi-Dharwad.
According to an official statement, ‘EmpowerHER’ project will empower women in tier 2 and 3 cities to enter the workforce, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
SEED will facilitate a combination of practical training, mentorship, and community support for the participants in cities including Mysuru, Hubballi, Dharwad and Belagavi. The programme is estimated to target about 2,000 participants, the statement said.
