HUBBALLI,Jan 18: Union Home Minister Amit Shah would participate in the celebration of Amrit Mahotsava of KLE Society’s B.V.Bhoomaraddy College of Engineering and Technology on January 27 in Hubballi.
Addressing a press conference, Dr. Ashok Shettar, Vice-Chancellor of KLE Technological University, said “Various programmes will be organised from January 27 to 29 to celebrate the Amrit Mahotsava of BVB College as well as Dr. Prabhakar Kore’s 75th birth anniversary. Home Minister Amit Shah would participate in the programmes on January 27.
“As part of the Amrit Mahotsava, Amit Shah will inaugurate the indoor stadium built in the campus at the cost of Rs. 25 crore. Also, Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari will participate on January 28, Shettar added.
On 29th January, there will be a get-together of old students of the college, in which Sudha Murthy, chairperson of Infosys, and engineer of ‘3 Idiots’ movie Sonam Wangchuk will participate, Ashok Shettar added.
