HUBBALLI: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi received overwhelming response and rousing welcome at Hubballi ahead of HDMC polls on Monday evening.
A large number of people gathered at Jannat Nagar on Mavanur Road in Old Hubballi to catch a glimpse of Owaisi when he visited the area.
Owisi’s fans raised ‘Dekho Dekho Kaun Aya, Sher Aya Sher Aya’ slogans.
Owaisi visited Hubballi to campaign for AIMIM’s candidates in the Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) elections.
To see Owaisi, people found waiting on roads, balconies of their houses, terrace and compound walls when he visited a masjid at Jannat Nagar in old Hubballi.
Police and volunteers had a tough time to manage the crowd.
