Tomorrow’s Bandh Won’t Affect Schools, Colleges

DHARWAD, Sept 28: The Deputy Commissioner, Gurudatt Hegde, has announced that tomorrow (September 29), schools, colleges, and government offices across the district will function as usual.

He assured that there would be no disruptions in essential services such as water supply, medical facilities, and other necessary services for the public.

He emphasized that the police commissioner and the Superintendent of Police have been given instructions to deploy adequate police personnel, conduct necessary police bandobast (arrangements), and ensure the appropriate deployment of police forces to prevent any public disturbances.

To avoid inconvenience to the public and address other concerns, the District Administration has appointed additional police personnel and made necessary arrangements to maintain law and order.

The authorities have urged the public and protesters to express their concerns peacefully and cooperate to prevent any public disturbances. They have emphasized the importance of maintaining a calm approach to address issues without causing disruptions to daily activities.
