DHARWAD: Covid-19 cases, in the district, continued to refuse to come down on Saturday as well, as the district reported 973 fresh cases of coronavirus.
On Saturday, the district added nine more to its causalities list, which is counting 844 deaths so far.
However, as many as 723 Covid patients were discharged after they completely recovered. With this, 41,703 people have recovered from the deadly infection.
Gadag saw 443 new cases on Saturday while reporting 4 deaths due to Covid-19 complications.
Haveri district reported 342 fresh cases and six deaths.
Similarly, Belagavi saw 1,026 fresh cases and 14 Covid-related deaths.
