DHARWAD,May 21: In a tragic incident, 7 persons died after the Trax Cruiser rammed into a Tree at Dharwad’s Bada village.
Six people have been seriously injured and have been hospitalized at Dharwad District Hospital and KIMS.
The deceased are identified as Ananya (14), Harish (13) Shilpa(34) Nilavva (60) Madhushri (20) Maheshwaraiah (11) and Shambulingaiah (35)
The family was on the way back to home in Benakanakatti after finishing a engagement ceremony at Manasur village.
It is said that the driver lost control and hit the tree.
Superintendent of Police SP Krishnakant visited the spot. A case has been registered at Dharwad Rural Police Station.
