GADAG, Oct 16: In a tragic incident, five people killed on spot in the collision between a KSRTC bus and a Tata Sumo near Naregal taluk in Gadag district.
The deceased have been identified as Sachin Katti (31), Shivakumar Kalashetty (50), Chandrakala (42), Rani (32), and Drakshayini Katti (33).
It has been reported that all the deceased were travelling in a Tata Sumo from Kalaburagi to Shirahatti to visit Fakkireshwar Matha. The accident occurred when the Sumo collided head-on with a KSRTC bus which was moving from Gadag to Gajendragad.
Dingaleshwara swamiji has expressed his condolences to the family members of the deceased.
