City Police Commissioner ShashiKumar Launches Initiates Night City Rounds on Moped
HUBBALLI, Oct 27: In a proactive approach to curb rising crimes in the twin cities of Hubballi-Dharwad, Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commisisonerate launched a special drive on Saturday night.
Police Commissioner N. Shashikumar personally took to the field, patrolling various areas on a moped to enhance the security measures.
The commissioner took strict action against individuals who were creating disturbances after consuming alcohol and young riders without proper documentation. Suspicious persons were detained, with several bikes and cars seized as part of the operation.
Since N. Shashikumar took over as Police Commissioner, he has implemented various special operations that have instilled fear among criminal elements and confidence among general citizens. His actions have significantly curbed activities related to drugs, marijuana, and illegal money lending in the city. Rowdy activities have gradually declined, and his recent night patrols have drawn attention to efforts aimed at stopping illegal nighttime activities.
