Body Parts All Over the Road after Accident on Hubballi-Dharwad Bypass

HUBBALLI, Oct 15: A tragic accident occurred on the Pune-Bengaluru National Highway, resulting in the gruesome deaths of two individuals after an unidentified vehicle collided with their bike.

The accident took place near the Dharavati Hanuman Temple bypass in Gokul village, located on the outskirts of Hubballi. The victims have been identified as Gopalakrishna Upadhyaya (52) from Bengaluru and Sadanand Devadiga (48) from Dharwad.

Both victims were severely mutilated in the crash. Gopalakrishna Upadhyaya had parked his car at Hubballi’s Chennamma Circle before traveling to Pandharpur for a pilgrimage. After their visit, the next day, he got off near Ramya Residency on the bypass and boarded Sadanand Devadiga’s scooter, heading back towards Hubballi. An unidentified vehicle crashed into their scooter, resulting in their fatal injuries.

The North Traffic Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
