HUBBALLI, Oct 09: A car moving on Lamington Road in the City caught fire on Wednesday evening. Fortunately, no causality was reported.
The driver of the car noticed smoke coming out from the engine, that too when heavy rainfall was lashing the city. The alert driver immediately parked the vehicle and came out of the vehicle.
According to locals, short circuit in the battery might have caused the incident.
More details are yet to be ascertained as the authorities as gathering the information about the incident.
