HUBBALLI, August 13: A case has come to light lately where people have been cheated of more than 3 crore rupees on the pretext of getting high returns against their investment.
R.R. Easy Trading Company and Acumen Capital Trading Limited Company of Vidyanagar’s Shirur Park took investment from people saying they will give four to five percent profit. Many people believed them and invested around Rs 3.5 crore rupees.
A complaint has been filed in the CEN crime station in this regard.
According to the complaint, Santosh and Anand of the above mention companies won the confidence of the investors by giving them high returns between April 2022 and January 2024. They then collected Rs. 3.5 crore from the investors. However, neither they returned the invested money nor the profit, Sahadevappa said in his complaint.
A case has been registered at CEN Crime Station.
