City Police Arrest 3 Men, Including 2 Software Engineers, for Cyber Frauds

HUBBALLI, July 19: In a massive crackdown on cyber fraudsters, Hubballi police have arrested two men from Delhi and one from Mumbai in connection with cyber frauds.

The arrested have been identified as Delhi-based Nikhil Kumar Rowney, Sachin Bola and Mumbai-based Nigam. Two of them were software engineers and one was a cloth merchant.

According to reports, these accused were experts in coding and decoding. They had created fake accounts in many banks across the nation. The fraudsters were deceiving public by transferring money from the latter’s accounts.

The police have reportedly seized mobile phones, laptop, and several documents from the accused. Also, the police have ordered to freeze their bank accounts which had around 60 lakh rupees.

Cyber Economic and Narcotics Crime (CEN) police Hubballi have arrested the trio and brought them to Hubballi. They have been produced before the magistrate.
