Jog Falls Tour Package Gets Overwhelming Response

HUBBALLI, July 15: Hubballi to Jog Falls monsoon-special bus service received overwhelming response on Sunday forcing the North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) to add two more buses.

According to NWKRTC Hubballi Divisional Controller H Ramanagoudar, seats of both the buses were booked within 48 hours of the announcement.

“Special discount would be given for NGOs or for group bookings if they book minimum 35 seats for Rajahamsa bus and 45 seats for Volvo buses. They would be operated on the day and time of passengers’ choice, even on weekdays. For more details, call 7760 991682 or 7760 991674.

These buses will leave the new bus stand on Gokul Road in Hubballi in the morning, and return at night. On the way, Marikamba Temple in Sirsi can also be visited. Fare per head is Rs 600 for multi-axle AC bus, and Rs 430 for Rajahamsa bus.

This week, the special bus service will be avaiable on Wednesday, July 17; as it will be a public holiday on account of Muharram.

From Dharwad, NWKRTC’s package tour buses will visit Dandeli-Maulangi-Kulagi-Ulavi and Navilteertha-Sogal-Gokak Falls-Hidkal dam. Special buses will also run on Haveri-Jog Falls and Ranebennur-Jog Falls routes.
