HUBBALLI, July 3: Management, staff and students of Sana Institute of Health Sciences observed National Doctors’ Day in their campus recently.
KMC-RI director Dr. SF Kammar, Medical Director of M. M. Joshi Eye Hospital Dr. Guruprasad, and Dr. Farhat Fatima, Dr. Sunil Gokle, and Dr. Yunus Najami addressed the gathering.
They emphasized on the critical role doctors play in society. “From providing routine medical care to responding to emergencies, doctors are the backbone of the healthcare system,” they added.
The management also felicitated Dr. KF Kammar, Dr. Nadagouda, Dr. Sameer Mulla, Dr. SV Koti, Dr. Mustafa, Dr. Umesh Hallikeri, Dr. Govind Desai, Dr. Arunkumar, Dr. Pallavi Aradhya, Dr. Neelakamal Hallur, Dr. Niyaz Janvekar and others at the occasion.
The theme chosen for National Doctor’s Day in 2024 was “Healing Hands, Caring Hearts.”
