DHARWAD, June 03: Deputy Commissioner Divya Prabhu, the Returning Officer of Dharwad Lok Sabha constituency, visited the counting center at Agricultural University today to inspect the final preparations for the counting of votes for Dharwad Lok Sabha Constituency, which will begin tomorrow, June 4, from 8 am.
She visited the counting rooms set up for every assembly constituency, and checked the arrangements made for counting staff, agents, and for Assistant Returning Officers. She also checked the security of the strong rooms.
Later, she visited the media center and got information from the officials about the TV system, Wi-Fi system and other necessary facilities.
From there, she inspected the dining arrangement made for media representatives, officials, agents of political parties. She also checked the parking places and traffic routes, and gave advice and instructions to managers and officials.
On this occasion, officials Ramesh B. Tehsildar Dr. D.H. Hugar, and other officials were present.
