HUBBALLI, June 2: A headmistress of a school at Bengeri here has received a letter threatening to her life from an unknown person.
According to Keshwapur Police, headmistress of private school in Bengeri, received the letter via post about two days ago in which she was threatened to be killed like Neha Hiremath and Anjali Ambiger.
A team of cops lead by Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP Law and Order) Kushal Chouksey, Hubballi North Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Shivaprakash Naik visited the house of the HM and gathered information from her. They motivated the HM that the police department will stood by her and she need not worry.
During their inquiry, the police found that the letter was written in a plain paper in Kannada language in big fonts and it was posted from Hubballi city itself.
“Deepa ninna hatya Neha & Anjali hage, kelave dina” the letter reads in Kannada.
Keshwapur Police have registered a case and checking the identity of the sender. The investigation is on.
