HUBBALLI, May 23: Meat sale has been banned and slaughter houses have been asked to remain shut on Thursday, May 23, on account of Buddha Poornima.
Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation has asked all meat shops and slaughter houses in the twin cities to remain closed.
If HDMC finds any case of violation of the order, actions, including cancellation of licence would be taken, HDMC officials said.
