HUBBALLI, Sep 11: A child died when a car he was travelling in collided with a tollgate divider at Nalavadi on Gadag Road near Hubballi on Wednesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Sanvi, a three-month-old baby.
The speeding car hit the toll divider when the driver lost control over Tata Zest car. As a result, four people in the car sustained serious injuries while the three-month-old baby could not respond to the treatment and passed away.
The accident occurred when the car was going from Hubballi to Mundaragi. Three people who were travelling in the car sustained serious injuries and have been admitted to KMC Hospital.
A case has been registered at Annigeri police station in this regard.
