HUBBALLI, Oct 12: City police have arrested the accused involved in the brutal murder of a youth in Hubballi after opening fire on them early on Saturday morning.
The accused, identified as Sudeep and Kiran, were shot by the police during the operation.
Both suspects are believed to be involved in the brutal killing of the young man. Following the firing, the police have taken the accused into custody, continuing their investigation into the incident. This event has caused significant concern among the residents of Hubballi.
The youth allegedly killed Shivaraj Kammar in the Ashok Nagar police station limits. The murder occurred late at night, and the accused fled the scene. However, within just six hours of the incident, the police apprehended the suspects.
When the police attempted to arrest the accused, Sudeep and Kiran, they tried to escape, prompting the police to open fire. Both suspects were shot in the leg and have been admitted to KIMS Hospital for treatment. Hubballi Police Commissioner N. Shashikumar is expected to visit the hospital to gather further details.
