HUBBALLI, Sept 17: President of India Droupadi Murmu would visit Hubballi for a civic reception programme that would be organized at Karnataka Gymkhana Grounds located at Deshpande Nagar in Hubballi on September 26.
Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi had persuaded Droupadi Murmu to visit the twin ciites for a civic reception. Accordingly, the President has given her consent to attend the programme and receive the civic felicitation.
Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) Mayor Iresh Anchatgeri said on Friday that the HDMC had extended an invitation appealing to the First Citizen of the country to visit the twin cities of Hubballi and Dharwad during her visit to the State on September 26.
According to Iresh, seating arrangements would be made for 5,000 persons at the venue.
