HUBBALLI, July 02: A team of Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) carried out a raid on a plastic company and seized more than 15 ton banned plastic.
The HDMC team led by Commissioner Dr. Eshwar Ullagaddi carried out the raid on Rajani Plastic Private Limited, located on Gokul Road in Hubballi. “The company was manufacturing 30-35 micron thickness single-use banned plastic items,” the commissioner said.
“Special teams would be formed to find out the factories manufacturing banned plastic. Raids will be carried out on the regular basis,” he added.
