HUBBALLI: A recent incident of robbery of a SBI branch, which took place in the broad daylight that too in a crowded place on Hubballi’s Koppikar Road was captured on CCTV cameras.
It can be seen in the video that a man wearing a monkey cap, black jacket and hand glows; barged into the bank and threatening the bank staff with a knife.

The incident had occurred on Tuesday, in which the person looted around Rs. 7 lakh cash from the bank. However, with the cooperation of the public, cops managed to arrest him within minutes of the incident near Hotel Metropolis on Koppikar Road.
Hubballi-Dharwad police Commissioner Labhu Ram has advised the bankers in the twin cities to strictly implement all security and safety measures as per the Bank Security Guidelines.
