TRAIN CARRYING PETROL DERAILS IN HUBBALLI

HUBBALLI: Three wagons carrying petrol derailed at Mantur near South Block in Hubballi railway station on Tuesday.
Three tankers of the goods train slid off the railway track while carrying petrol from Hassan to Indian Oil Corporation in Navaluru.

Following the derailment, train movement was affected for some time while a few services were partially cancelled.

A help desk has been set up at Hubballi railway station. Additional counters have been opened for enquiries. Announcements are also being made, said an official release.

Following the derailment, train No.17226 Hubballi-Vijayawada train started from Annigeri. Buses were arranged from Hubballi to Annigeri for passengers.
