SSLC students from containment zones won’t be allowed to appear exam: Education Minister

The SSLC students residing in containment zones will not be allowed to appear for the examinations that is scheduled to be held from June 25.

Addressing a press conference in Bengaluru today, Primary and Secondary Education Minister S. Suresh Kumar said that such students will be considered as fresh candidates and will have to appear for the examination later, probably during the supplementary examination.

Over 8 lakh students across the state have registered for the examination. It has been reported that fresh sets of hall tickets and marks cards will be issued for such candidates.

For PU-II only English language exam is pending. It will be held on June 18, Education Minister S Suresh Kumar said on Monday.
