The South Western Railways has said that it would run 40 pairs of special train services from September 12 on specific routes. These services shall be in addition to the Shramik specials and the special trains.
The South Western Railway will operate seven pairs of special trains from the said date. The timing of the special trains would be the same as the existing regular services.
However, these trains will have restricted stoppages in view of the suggestions of the state government, the railways said.
SWR To Operate Following 7 Trains
These trains will operate between Bengaluru-Mysuru, Bengaluru Cantonment-Guwahati, Yesvantpur Bikaner, Mysuru-Jaipur, Mysuru-Solapur, Gorakhpur-Yesvantpur and KSR Bengaluru-New Delhi.
Only reserved passengers will be allowed, the statement said.
According to media reports, reservations for these trains will start from September 10.
