HUBBALLI: City-based Shaahi Family Restaurant has brought back its chefs from Madhya Pradesh and reopened the restaurant to the public this week.
Shaahi Restaurant, located on Koppikar Road in Hubballi, is famous for serving Mughlai food. Its main chefs Ravindrapal and Pavan Kumar, who had worked in Qatar, have returned to Hubballi from Madhya Pradesh and resumed their service.
Speaking to hubballitimes.com, Shaahi Restaurant owners Ibrahim Shaikh and Vineet Miskin said that they booked flights for their chefs who had gone to their native place in Madhya Pradesh during the lockdown.
The restaurant is quite popular, especially among non-vegetarians, as neither Ajinomoto nor colours are used in the food preparation here.
“My mother always wanted to cook food for people. Fulfilling her dream, I have opened this restaurant. We use homemade species rather than those available in the market,” Shaikh added.
“I feel that clean and pure water is the right of people. Therefore, I don’t charge for bottled water unlike other restaurants, and entry into the kitchen is open to customers here. They can enter the kitchen and find out that we don’t use unhealthy essences.”
Shaahi is also coming up with Sheer Khurma, a Muslim festive dessert, and Haleem.
