One more patient recovers from corona in Dharwad, discharged from KIMS

HUBBALLI: Dharwad Deputy Commissioner Deepa Cholan on Wednesday informed that a 35-year-old man who was infected with COVID-19 was discharged from KIMS Hospital in Hubballi.

P-705, a resident of Navalur Agasi area in Hosayellapur in Dharwad, was suffering from cold, cough and severe fever. Following which, he throat swab was sent for testing. On May 7, lab reports confirmed that he was infected with COVID-19.

His throat swab was tested twice within 24 hours. As the result showed negative, and as the doctors confirmed from the X-ray of the patients’ lungs that he had no breathing problems, the patient has been discharged, said a release from the district administration.

So far 11 people have been recovered from COVID-19 in the district.
