HUBBALLI: The recovery rate of COVID-19 patients in KIMS Hubballi is fast picking up.
As many as 13 persons who were infected with novel coronavirus and admitted at KIMS were discharged on Friday, and there were two fatalities.
While, a total of 29 persons have succumbed to the infection in the district so far, a total of 306 persons have completely recovered from the infection and discharged from the hospital.
According to the World Health Organization, people with mild illness recover in about two weeks, while those with more severe ailments may take three to six weeks to rebound. In India, more than 8 lakh people have been diagnosed, but more than 4 lakh already have recovered.
While in Dharwad district, 882 people have tested positive so far, of which, more than 300 have recovered.
