HUBBALLI: “The Central BJP government’s decision to unilaterally implement the new National Education Policy -2020 without any discussion in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha has caused many doubts,” said Mohammed Peer, State Secretary, Students Islamic Organisation Karnataka.
Addressing mediapersons here recently, Peer said, “according to academicians, it is argued that some aspects of the national education policy are confusing and that the central government has rushed to enforce it in order to conceal them.”
“Implementing an education policy without knowing how they are designed is an incorrect process. Therefore, we urge the government not to implement it in a hurry. Since education is on the charter, we think it is appropriate to formulate a “Karnataka Education Policy” for our state based.”
“We demand that the Karnataka Education Policy be implemented only after it has been tabled, discussed and approved by both the Assembly and the Council,’ he added.
Sio Hubballi unit president Abdus Salam Wajid, secretary Sameer Manik, Farooq Ahmed and others were present.
