People arriving in Karnataka from all states other than Maharashtra have something to cheer about.
They no longer have to be in institutional quarantine of any kind, Karnataka Chief Secretary T M Vijay Bhaskar stated in an order.
Earlier, people from Delhi, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra had to go under institutional quarantine for seven days followed by seven days of home quarantine. This rule will now apply only to travellers from Maharashtra. People from all other states will be put under 14 days of home quarantine, Vijay Bhaskar stated.
