DHARWAD: Three more Covid-19 patients have died in the Dharwad district, raising the number of mortalities to 11.
Patient number 12138, an 82-year-old man, died on July 3. He developed Covid-19 symptoms on June 19 and had fever for eight days. He had no history of contact or travel.
He was suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Illness (SARI) and complained of fever, cough and breathlessness. He also had the co-morbidities of diabetes and hypertension. He was hospitalised on June 27 and died at 8.20 pm on July 3.
Patient number 16936, a 73-year-old man, developed Covid-19 symptoms on June 23. He suffered from Influenza-Like Illness (ILI) and complained of fever and cough. He had breathlessness for 10 days and dry cough for four days. His co-morbidity was Ischemic Heart Disease (IHD).
He had no history of contact or travel.
He was hospitalised at 11.33 am on July 2 and died at 3.20 pm on July 3.
Patient number 20061, an 80-year-old man, was suffering from Influenza-Like Illness (ILI) and complained of fever and cold. He was brought dead to hospital on July 1.
