DHARWAD: The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is being held at 23 centres in the district, including 12 centres in Dharwad and 11 in Hubballi.
Around 7,848 students likely to appear for the test – 4,080 in Dharwad city and 3,768 in Hubballi.
The Biology paper was held from 10.30 am to 11.50 am and Mathematics from 2.30 pm to 3.50 pm on July 30. The Physics paper will be held from 10.30 am to 11.50 am and Chemistry from 2.30 pm to 3.50 pm on July 31.
Two staff members of the Health Department have been appointed to conduct the health checkup at every exam center. Ambulance and all other necessary medical facilities have also been provided.
Two of the candidates have tested positive for Covid infection and have been provided separate CET centres as instructed by the deputy commissioner.
