8 More, Including 5 Women, Die Of Covid-19 In Dharwad Dist

39 Covid Patients Are In The ICU In District

DHARWAD: Eight more Covid-19 patients have died in the Dharwad district, raising the total fatalities to 124.

Patient-59338, a 72-year-old woman, was suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARI) and had complained of cough and breathlessness. She also had hypertension. She was hospitalised on July 12 and she died on July 17. She tested positive for Covid-19 posthumously.

Patient-60017, an 84-year-old woman, was suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARI) and had complained of fever, cough and breathlessness. She also had hypertension, diabetes and chronic liver disease. She was hospitalised on July 18 and she died on July 22. She tested positive for Covid-19 posthumously.

Patient-64647, a 74-year-old woman, was suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARI) and had complained of fever and breathlessness. She also had hypertension, diabetes, chronic kidney disease and Ischemic Heart Disease. She was hospitalised on July 17 and she died on July 24. She tested positive for Covid-19 posthumously.

Patient-73492, a 71-year-old man, was suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARI) and had complained of breathlessness. He also had diabetes and chronic kidney disease. He was hospitalised on July 18 and she died on July 26.

Patient-82492, a 64-year-old woman, was suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARI) and had complained of fever, cough and breathlessness. She was hospitalised on July 23 and she died on July 25.

Patient-93797, a 68-year-old man, was suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARI) and had complained of breathlessness. She also had diabetes, hypertension and Ischemic Heart Disease. He was hospitalised on July 22 and he died on July 24.

Patient-106138, an 82-year-old man, was suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARI) and had complained of breathlessness. He was hospitalised on July 26 and he died the next day.

Patient-112306, an 80-year-old woman, was suffering from Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARI) and had complained of breathlessness. She also had hypertension. She was hospitalised on July 26 and she died the same day.

This apart, 39 Covid patients are in the ICU in Dharwad, the highest after Bengaluru Urban.
