2 More Drug Suppliers Arrested; 6 Kg Ganja Seized

HUBBALLI: The Hubballi Town Police have hunted down two more suspects in the city involved in drug peddling.

The arrested have been identified as Sumersingh Madansingh Rajput, a native of Jodhpur, and currently residing in Sindgi Complex in Ghantikeri, and Samundarsingh Nepalsingh Rajput, a native of Bardamer, living in Azad Colony of Keshwapur.

The police have seized 6 kg ganja, 2 mobile phones, cash, and a Honda Dio vehicle.

Sumersingh was working in an eatery while Samundarsingh was an electrician. They used to sell drugs parallel to their respective professions.

The police got a tip-off that two persons have left from Keshwapur to Ghantikeri through Budhavihar, with the intension of selling ganja. Confirming the tip-off, police carried out the raid and arrested the duo. 

Town SI MS Patil, PSI BN Satannavar, constables YB Morab, SA Kalghatgi, CS Chalavadi, PL Govindappa, SB Kattimani, HB Nander, KH Ragani, KU Tumbinavar, and Kotesh KH participated in the operation.
